Prayer
for Peace on Earth
God,
Father and Creator of us all!!!
You, Who are the Supreme Intelligence and First Cause of all things;
eternal, unchangeable, unique, all-powerful, sovereignly just and good;
Creator of the Universe, everything that is in it and the laws that rule
it.
You,
Who created us as immortal spirits, in the beginning simple and devoid of
knowledge in order to develop in ourselves wisdom and virtue, knowledge
and love through work and the multiple trials and existences in the many
mansions of Your kingdom.
Strengthen
and sustain us in our purpose of building a lasting peace on Earth. By
learning how to love fraternally our neighbors as we want them to love us;
by accepting their personal characteristics as they accept ours, and by
tolerating their faults as they tolerate ours; by assisting them in their
difficulties as we are assisted in ours; and by respecting the way by
which they comprehend the Creator, creation, life, religion and society,
as we also want our way of comprehending these things to be respected.
Because
we know, Oh Lord, that we will only build peace on earth if we build peace
in our hearts, and we will only have peace within ourselves if peace is
with the ones living alongside us – in our homes, our cities, our
countries, the whole world.
Nature,
Your creation, is the highest expression of harmony, beauty, equilibrium,
and love.
Let
us edify within ourselves the habit of the practices of brotherhood,
solidarity, and charity, by cultivating benevolence towards everyone,
indulgence toward the imperfections of others, and the pardon of offenses.
And
Let
us learn with Your assistance, voluntarily and conscientiously, to live
according to Your moral laws, thus building the Peace within us and the
world we live in.
So
Be It.

Message
of the Month
The
Alliance between Science and Religion
Science
and religion are the two levers of human intelligence, one revealing the
laws of the material world, the other revealing those of the moral world.
But seeing that these laws have the same principle, which is God, they
cannot contradict themselves.
