While You Serve

The work which Life has entrusted to you is the instrument that polishes your personality. And it may also be compared with a voyage towards the perfection you seek.

Keep moving forward and serve constantly. No matter how difficult your path, use your actions to forge ahead. One step forward at a time... Sometimes a single step may take weeks or even months, but continue on...

The pitfalls we run into are often not external. They are inside of us, like the painful feeling of being misunderstood by those we love; the resentment we experience when unexpectedly attacked; the worries about our past; the bitter memories that can discourage us...

But do not let these things hinder your progression. Move forward and keep on fulfilling your duties. Think of the tree, which renews itself by shedding its dead leaves.

Cast sadness and anxiety from you, then disillusionment will disappear as well. Resentments are only useless burdens.

Love forward without fear. Should you reach a crossroad surrounded by dense fog and not know which way to turn, then pray and trust.

God has the means to guide you in the right direction.

Do not lose courage. Life has wonderful things in store for those who persevere while still continuing to work and serve.

Fill yourself with courage and have faith in God, and in yourself, for no one can walk your path for you. Have no fear.

No one in capable of interrupting progress. Just as no one can stop the darkness of the night from becoming the light of dawn.
